A dive into purity

The Phi Phi Islands are simply fabulous. We are sure your Facebook/Instagram/Twitter accounts will be brimming with photos and news after you return from your Phi Phi Islands trip. The islands are just 48 km away from Phuket – not that high a tax on your patience before you discover paradise. Having arrived, all you will think about is staying a little longer, on an island lost in the Andaman Sea, walking on the beach surrounded by tropical wilderness.

The Phi Phi Islands are the crown jewels of the Top 10 most stunning tourist locations in the world – according to any guide to our galaxy. How stunning are these islands and what is so special about them? Those answers can only be discovered in person.

The Phi Phi archipelago consists of six islands, with Phi Phi Don being the largest and the only inhabited of them all. The second largest island, Phi Phi Leh, is world famous for its Maya Bay, featured in "The Beach", starring Leonardo DiCaprio. It is no wonder director Danny Boyle chose this magnificent destination for his film. When you get to the island, take your chance to star in your own film amid the mesmerising splendour of Phi Phi Leh.

The island is just 6.6 square kilometres of tropical bliss. However, this relatively small strip of land is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the area. Visitors love to swim in the shallow Maya Bay and feel the incredibly soft island sand between their toes. Visit the Viking Cave to see its mysterious paintings, where you may also notice locals collecting swallows’ nests for traditional South Asian bird’s nest soup.

Another stop you will make during your trip will be at Pileh Cove, a natural lagoon surrounded by limestone cliffs. You will have enough time to swim in the lagoon and take photos of this incredibly beautiful spot.

When you arrive at Phi Phi Don, make sure to visit the local crab-eating macaques on Monkey Beach. Take a look and a picture before you go snorkeling and admiring the island's underwater world. After snorkeling at Phi Phi Don and stopping to enjoy lunch, you will hop over to Khai Nok Island – the final destination of your tour – for one last swim and stroll on the beach.

Lunch, transfer to harbour/hotel and snorkeling equipment included.

Is it necessary to get in the water over the stomach (more than 1 meters water) or would you have the option and still be able to get to the beaches on this tour?

If you don't want to get into the water, that is OK. There will be a few stops on the beaches.
